Captain Kibbee has been a Seattle Police Officer for 26 years and has held numerous positions within the department, to include: patrol officer, patrol sergeant, Early Intervention Coordinator and Watch Commander. Captain Kibbee was most recently assigned as the Mountain Bike Unit Commander at SPD’s West Precinct, where he led the department’s efforts in combating narcotics issues in the downtown core. He has served as the West Precinct’s liaison to the LEAD program since 2017 and believes strongly in the partnership between SPD and LEAD.
